Here to spread the joy of movement.

When discipline and play come together, magic happens!

A bit about my yoga journey

I discovered yoga as a child and practiced exclusively at home for years. It has been a regular part of my life for over 20 years, and I’ve had the honour of teaching group and private classes for half of them.

Over the years, my movement practice has evolved significantly, but the skills and values that I learned from yoga remain foundational in every sport and activity I pursue. Whether I am hand-balancing, weight training, cycling, or rock climbing, the mindfulness, patience and self-compassion that I cultivated through yoga remain the cornerstone to my movement practice.

Handstands!

As soon as I discovered a love for handstands, I sought to share it. I have been integrating the drills and techniques from my handstand practice into my Vinyasa classes for years.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in my handstand practice is the importance of playfulness and fun. It’s often a long journey, and I’ve found that embracing our inner child and learning to laugh at ourselves keeps us coming back.

Therefore, I aim to foster an environment where students can explore their potential, build strength and stability, and embrace the process with a sense of playfulness and perseverance.

Tuesday 6:30 PM: Weekly drill-based handstand class at Studio Mile End.
